Happy Easter!

Happy Easter my sweet baby girl!  Today, was your SECOND Easter!!  What a difference today was than last year.  The Easter bunny (as you call him, the hop hop) visited you twice today, once at grandmas and once at papas house.  You would pick up the eggs, shake them then eat everything inside!  The Easter egg hunt was a lot longer than anticipated.  :)  You are sleeping now and I am shocked you actually fell asleep from all the sugar (JELLY BEANS!!!) you ate today.  You are one lucky girl!!!

Easter Weekend!

Besides this weekend being Easter, we had a fun-filled weekend. 

On Friday, we met your bff Hailey downtown Livermore.  We went out to lunch and went to toy stores.  The two of you have so much fun together. 

On Saturday we mommy and daddy took you to Chuck-E-Cheese.  You had a lot of fun, especially loved putting the money in the rides.  You also like the Mouse and the other characters.  You kept pointing out their big eyes, and shoes. 

You also opened your Easter presents from Auntie Kelly, Uncle Lee, and Baer and a present from Auntie Ashley.  Here are the pics from this....

FUN Weekend

Dear Ellie,

You had such a fun-filled weekend!

On Saturday we took you to the zoo.  You absolutely loved it!  This was the first time you were REALLY into it.  You loved the turtles and the elephants.  You also kept calling the giraffes "MOO MOO!!" We think it is because you cows have similiar spots as giraffes.  You are a silly girl.  We took the stroller with us and you did NOT allow us to put you in it, you are growing up too fast.

On Sunday, we took you to an Easter party.  They had games, an egg hunt, but more importantly the Easter bunny was there.  You did not really like him and but kept wanting to go near him to take the candy he was handing out.  One Smart Girl you are!! 

20 MONTHS old today!!

Dear Sweet Ellie,

Today is your 20th month Birthday!!  You woke up at your Papa's house then played with your Daddy.  Your daddy took you to Trader Joe's where he bought you cookies!!, applesauce, yogurt, and your new favorite thing....tofu soy corndogs!!  We then went to grandmas house and played some more there.  What a day you had.

You are repeating every word we say now, something all of us around you have to be very careful!!  You love to put on frilly dresses and TWIRL!!!  You are definitely a girl who is already enjoying playing dress-up with dresses and shoes (one of your favorite words)!!

You recently learned how to say I LOVE YOU!!!  Where you point to your eyes and say "I", then pat your chest (where your heart is) for "LOVE" and point to the person you are saying it to for "YOU"!!  You are such a JOY!!!  and we are all so lucky to have you in our lives!!!

First Weekend of April 2011

Dear Ellie,

You are almost 20 months now, where o where does the time go?  You continue to amaze us numerous times a day.  We had a fun-filled weekend.  On Friday, you played with your friend Hailey.  We went out to fountain downtown Livermore where you and your best friend ran around in the water.  You had a blast.  This was your first time there this year and you were much more timid of the water than you were last summer.  Last summer, you would run and jump in it.  This time, you would run near it screaming but would barely touch it.  You still really enjoyed it.

Things you love....
-Going to the park, you call it the "Weee"  Every time we go for a walk and we get close to the park you start screaming, 'WEEE WEEE WEEE!!!' and start kicking in your stroller.

-Blackberries...YUM!!!
-Ketchup-you love to DIP everything in ketchup including homemade French toast I made you.  You are a silly girl!
-Avocado-something you have always loved



New Discoveries....
-We took you to the donut shop on Sunday in downtown Livermore.  You have had donuts before but did not seem to like them as much as you did this time.  You went running into the store yelling, "Cookies, Cookies".  I tried explaining to you that they are not cookies and they are donuts.  You repeated the word donut a few times then went back to calling them cookie.
